Reference on the results of socio-economic development of the city of Kokshetau for January-July of 2018

Industry. In the industrial sector in January-July 2018, the volume of industrial production amounted to 56 018,0 million tenge. The volume index is 100.3%.The greatest influence on the formation of results in the whole industry has manufacturing.

In the manufacturing industry, which occupies the largest share in the structure of industrial production (67,3%), in January-July 2018, products were produced for 37 703,0 million tenge.

Development of entrepreneurship. As of August 1, 2018, 19 511 small business entities were registered in the city of Kokshetau — legal entities, which is 101,8% of the corresponding period of 2017. At the operating and newly created small businesses, 298 new jobs were created for the analyzed period.

Investment sphere. In January-July of 2018, the volume of investments into the main capital was at the level of 18 511,1 million tenge with the index of physical volume amounted to 111,6%.

Housing construction. In January-July 2018 commissioned 111,7 thousand square meters of housing, including: IH — 43,1 thousand square meters, commercial housing is 56,5 thousand sq.m, rental housing is 12,1 thousand square meters.

The state budget. As of August 1, 2018, budgets of all levels received taxes and fees in the amount of KZT 3,018.89 million or 103.3% of the forecast plan. To the level of 2017 receipts increased by KZT 768.7 million. The plan of allocations to the republican budget was fulfilled by 103.5% (13392.9 million KZT). The local budget received 16786.0 million tenge, which is 103.2% of the forecast period.

Education. The network of educational institutions of Kokshetau is represented by 64 educational organizations, including: 22 secondary General education schools (day schools), 2 basic General education schools, 40 pre-school organizations (23 state kindergartens, 4 mini-centers (3 state and 1 private), 2 nursery schools and 12 private kindergartens). Also there are 7 extra-curricular organizations (musical school, art school, tsvr "Owlet", children and youth club of physical training "Zhas Kairat", the center for work with gifted children "Tcsetaw daryny", the center for correction and development of children "Meyirim", a training labor training).The number of pupils in secondary schools is 23 306 students, including primary school — 11 268 students. Pre-school education covers 6,835 children from 1 to 6 years, which is 57.3%, from 3 to 6 years — 93% or 8127 covered children. The educational process is carried out in two-shift and three-shift mode. All schools in the city are computerized and have access to the Internet.

Culture. The state network of cultural organizations consists of 12 institutions, including: 10 libraries, DK "Kokshe", DK "Dostar".

Since the beginning of this year, according to the work plan of the Department, 1777 events were held, which were visited by 520,4 thousand people.

Theatrical performances, educational and entertainment programs, competitions were held.

The volume of financing of cultural facilities amounted to 234,2 million tenge (85.7% of the plan of the reporting period).

Sport. For physical culture and sports in the city there are 274 sports facility, including: sports Palace "Burabai", 2 stadiums ("Okzhetpes" and "Aisulu"), 7 sports complexes, 3 swimming pools, 67 gyms, 2 athletic arena, 1 ski-storage, 18 shooting range, 114 planar structures 17 hockey courts, 25 built-in gyms, billiard halls 8, 7 tennis courts, 1 track. In the reporting period, 127 sports events were held with a total coverage of 23.0 thousand people.

The volume of financing of sports institutions amounted to 37,9 million tenge (69,6% of the plan of the reporting period).

Labour market and social protection.

As of August 1, 2018, 513 unemployed persons are registered in the Department of employment and social programs, which is 63.9% higher than in 2017. The level of fixed unemployment exceeded last year’s figure by 0.1 percentage points and amounted to 0.4%.

Since the beginning of this year, with the assistance of the authorized body for employment, 1579 unemployed people have been employed, which is 10.3% higher than last year.

As of August 1, 2018, 610 vacancies from 290 enterprises and institutions of the city were registered in the database. The coefficient of tension in the labor market was 1.2.

In various sectors of the economy, 1443 new jobs have been created, which is 75.2% of the planned indicator for 2018.

As part of the Youth practice programme, 125 people have been temporarily employed.

205 people are directed to public works.

Health care. The network of medical institutions located on the territory of a polyclinic, a children’s polyclinic, three family-doctor outpatient clinics, a women’s consultation, Kokshetau city hospital, a city hospital No. 2 p. Krasny Yar. Emergency medical assistance is provided by an ambulance station. In order to improve the quality of services, the population operates a regional Blood Center for 24.0 thousand liters per year, a polyclinic with a capacity of 500 visits per shift. Demographic processes as of January 1, 2018 are characterized by a positive population growth of 1897 people.

Crime. In January-July 2018 in the city of Kokshetau in the Unified register of pre-trial investigation registered only 2561 crimes, including 933 crimes.
